Molecular Imaging Chemistry Laboratory (MICL)

The group has recently published a paper about the Chemistry of a novel TSPO PET radiotracer candidate GE387 in ChemMedChem.

While still preserving the in vitro/in vivo properties of its analogue GE180, GE387 is shown to be independent from the TSPO genetic polymorphism which presents an exceptional advantage. We hope to publish the detailed preclinical evaluation soon.

Nisha and Matt were invited speakers and presented this work at the Cambridge Imaging Festival on the 21st May in CRUK.
